Accessibility Statement
Last updated: August 2, 2026
A&M Eventology wants everyone to be able to browse our work and get in touch with us, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That is the standard commonly referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
What we have done
- Written descriptive alternative text for the photographs in our portfolio and service sections, so their content is conveyed to screen reader users.
- Used semantic HTML — real headings, lists, buttons, and landmarks — so the page structure can be navigated non-visually.
- Labelled every field in the inquiry form, and given the menu button an accessible name and expanded/collapsed state.
- Made the photo viewer operable by keyboard, including arrow keys to move between photos and Escape to close.
- Honoured the “reduce motion” setting in your operating system, which turns off our scroll and fade animations.
- Kept body text at a comfortable size with dark text on light backgrounds for contrast.
- Announced inquiry form status messages to assistive technology when a submission succeeds or fails.
Known limitations
We would rather be honest about the gaps than claim the site is perfect:
- The rotating hero background changes automatically every few seconds and cannot currently be paused. It is decorative and hidden from screen readers, but it may be distracting.
- Some decorative accents and lighter caption text may fall below the WCAG AA contrast ratio in places.
- Our inquiry form is delivered by a third-party service. We do not control its processing pages.
- Our website has not yet had a formal independent accessibility audit. Our assessment is based on our own testing.
We are working through these, and we will update this page as they are addressed.

Accessibility at your event
Accessibility matters in the room as well as on the screen. Tell us about guests with mobility, sensory, or other access needs when you enquire, and we will plan the layout — aisle widths, seating, lighting levels, and clear routes — around them.
